Position Overview: The Armed Security Specialist is crucial in maintaining the safety and security of the installation and its occupants. Your responsibilities will include access control, roving patrols, surveillance, and monitoring to ensure a secure environment at this U.S. Army installation, featuring amenities such as a gym, PX, Burger King, and MWR. Key Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen. Provide a DD214 from military service if applicable within the last 10 years. Eligibility for a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (we can sponsor new clearances). A minimum of two (2) years' experience in armed security, law enforcement, or equivalent military experience within the past 10 years. Completion of a state-recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or military security training, with verification required. Must possess a current/active U.S. Passport. Willingness to undergo an NCIC/FBI criminal background check; a clean history is necessary. Strong knowledge of security operations and force protection. Exemplary written and oral communication skills. Must pass medical fitness testing and have the physical ability to perform guard duties in various weather and terrain conditions, meeting all U.S. Government physical and medical requirements. Capability to complete a Physical Ability Test: run 1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes and perform 21 pushups in two minutes. Commitment to random drug testing is required. Regular working hours are 48 hours per week, with the possibility of altered schedules and additional hours as needed.
