Support specimen collection and expertly prepare samples for various tests as required. Thoroughly document all procedures, play a key role in training new staff or students, and assist in maintaining lab quality standards. Ensure a safe and clean working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards. Education A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree is required, alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be acquired within the first year of employment. Ongoing maintenance of certification is expected throughout employment. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with healthcare teams. Able to apply independent judgment and solve problems in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
