CT Technologist Rochester NY

Level 2 CT Technologist Rochester, NY 03/02/2026 – 08/29/2026 40 hours week- Mid Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs Requirements: Completion of formal training in an approved Radiologic Technology program ARRT certification required Active NYS licensure (must obtain prior to starting) Minimum 2 years’ experience Level 1 trauma center experience BLS (AHA ONLY) required Responsibilities: Verify patient identity and exam orders prior to scanning Coordinate with physicians to provide precise diagnostic imaging Prepare patients, explain procedures, and insert IVs when needed Position patients safely, including those with limited mobility Maintain accurate patient records in EPIC and ensure images are sent to PACS Ensure a clean and safe scanning environment Preferred: Injection certification (willing to complete during orientation) Experience with Philips or Siemens equipment Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication Compassionate, patient-centered approach Team player who fosters a positive working environment
