Lead AI Engineer

Job Title : Lead AI Engineer/Architect Location : San Jose, CA (6+ months Contract) Hybrid Our client is building a GenAI Developer Assistant-an end-to-end GenAI-driven SDLC assistant framework. This platform leverages advanced GenAI technologies to accelerate product development and deployment, fostering innovation and delivering services to customers swiftly. Job Description: - Act as the primary liaison between the customer and the offshore team - Coordinate with the customer's teams to gather requirements, scope out tasks, and ensure alignment on platform goals - Provide technical guidance on LLM and RAG architecture to the offshore team, helping to define the integration points and overall flow - Oversee the deployment and fine-tuning of LLM models and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements - Work on integrating webhooks into IDEs for code assist functionalities, ensuring seamless interaction between the AI Agents and the developer tools - Lead discussions on multi-agentic frameworks and their design to ensure multi-agent interactions are properly aligned with the platform's needs - Conduct on-the-ground troubleshooting and rapid prototyping for any local development issues - Ensure knowledge transfer of the delivered work to the customer's internal teams. Education Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's Degree & Minimum 10-15 years of total IT experience Gen-AI and NLP Project Experience: Minimum of 1-2 projects in the Generative AI space. E2E AI Architecture: Experience in architecting at least two end-to-end AI projects.
