Insight Global is looking for a Takeoff Quality Validator to provide critical quality management and oversight for whole-home takeoffs generated by our external provider. In this role, you will leverage your construction and estimating background to audit material calculations for single-family, multi-family, and light commercial builds. You will serve as the final line of defense, ensuring our quality standards are universally upheld before outputs reach the customer, while also identifying opportunities for systemic improvements. This role is 5 days a week with a preference for candidates sitting in the Atlanta, GA or Vancouver, WA areas. Day to day: • Perform mandatory Tier 1 quality checks on every blueprint takeoff output from our provider to ensure material calculations meet quality standards. • Identify errors, anomalies, or omissions in provider-generated takeoffs and submit necessary reworks back to the provider before finalizing outputs for the customer. • Conduct Tier 2 deep-dive audits on random or targeted takeoff samples to identify defect trends and opportunities for global/systemic improvements. • Communicate directly and effectively with the external takeoff provider regarding quality issues, providing clear feedback to improve their future output. • Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to validate the accuracy of the provider's scope and material assumptions. • Leverage Home Depot custom apps, Salesforce, and the provider's software to seamlessly manage the takeoff review lifecycle. • Maintain accurate records and reports of quality metrics, reworks, and defect trends using Excel and internal tools. Pay rate for this role is determined by the hiring manager during the interview process within the range of 30-35/hr. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Required Skills & Experience • 2+ years of experience doing blueprint takeoffs or estimating to calculate materials and costs for new builds (residential single-family, multi-family, and light commercial). • Strong understanding of construction materials, structural components (framing, engineered wood products, trim, flooring, etc.), and general building practices. • Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents to independently verify external work. • Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to audit data, spot discrepancies, and enforce quality control standards. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, actionable, and constructive feedback to external vendors. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable operating within CRM/custom platforms.
