Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator Location: Belfast, ME Schedule: 4-day workweek, Day Shift (6:45 AM-4:15 PM) Role Overview The Operating Room Circulator RN supports safe, high-quality surgical care across a range of specialties. This role provides direct patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment and collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and procedural teams. Key Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 perioperative nursing care in a 3-OR suite with 2 additional procedure rooms. Circulate for a variety of surgical cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Endoscopy, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, and Ophthalmology. Maintain a safe, sterile environment and ensure proper use of equipment (Stryker, Storz, Steris, etc.). Document care in the EPIC EMR system. Participate in required on-call rotations: Weekend call: Friday 4:15 PM Monday 6:45 AM Holiday call: Rotating Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient safety and workflow efficiency. Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience. Licensure: Active RN license. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS. Education Modules: As assigned by the facility. Preferred Qualifications Scrub experience (preferred but not required). Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment.
