Middleware Application Server Engineer

Job title:- Middleware Application Server Engineer Location:- Richmond, VA 23219 Duration:- 10 Months Qualifications: Role Overview: At the Senior level, this person should be able to Engineer and Automate middleware products. Responsibilities: Technical Skills: WebSphere Application Server(ND/Base) - Deep understanding of this product is a must with hands on experience with installing, configuring, automating, administration, high availability configuration , setting up Enterprise repository . WebSphere Liberty - Advanced understanding of this product with hands on experience with various flavors of Liberty (in Virtual machines and containers- Podman, OCP) Automation Skills - Hands on experience with writing playbooks for Ansible controller. Workflow experience is good to have. Scripting/Programming language - Strong Experience with Shell script, python, PowerShell , java Agile - Experience with Agile Framework. Design and Patterns - Experienced with Application Server design/architecture and patterns Security - Good understanding on managing certificates General - Experience with other middleware products such as Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, NGINX is a plus. Office products - Strong experience with Excel(writing functions, formulas, pivot tables etc) and power point (for architectural documents and presentation) is required.
