Job DescriptionMechanical Plumbing and Piping/Sheet Metal Estimator Location: Phoenix, AZ Department: Estimating Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumbing and Piping/Sheet Metal Estimator to join our Estimating Department in Phoenix, AZ. In this full-time role, you'll play a critical part in our preconstruction efforts by developing accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal. This is a key role with high visibility and opportunities for long-term growth. Key ResponsibilitiesReview blueprints, specifications, proposals, and project documents to prepare detailed estimates Use estimating software such as Quick Pen or TSI to generate takeoffs and budgets Leverage MS Office tools-especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint-to support daily estimating tasks Apply thorough knowledge of HVAC and Plumbing systems, including: Local/national codes & standards for piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems Labor and material costing using SMACNA and MCAA standards Prepare square-foot pricing and full project budgets for HVAC and Plumbing scopes Coordinate and assist with submittals, client communications, and proposal development Maintain clean, organized documentation and project files Interpret and work from contract documents and project front-end requirements Qualifications5+ years of estimating experience in mechanical, plumbing, piping, or sheet metal OR equivalent combination of technical education and industry experience Strong understanding of both HVAC and Plumbing systems preferred What We OfferPaid vacation and holidays Competitive compensation and full benefits package including 401(k) with company match Veteran-friendly employer-Military Veterans are encouraged to apply Collaborative and supportive team environment Career growth and advancement opportunities.
