As a Digital Marketing Operations and Technology Architect, you will play a critical role in defining the strategy, roadmap, and implementation of our omni-channel marketing and technology platform stack. Collaborating closely with stakeholders in marketing and IT, you will lead initiatives to empower digital marketing across various owned channels (web, mobile, email) and off-site channels (search, display, social). Your responsibilities will include driving key functionalities such as reporting, analytics, personalization, decision-making, and testing. You will assess existing MarTech infrastructures, providing strategic leadership and guidance while addressing complex problems and responding to technological innovations. In this position, you'll design comprehensive analytical workflows that include overall architecture, capabilities, platforms, tools, and governance processes. You'll also help shape the client operating model by introducing new roles and processes, evolving the analytic technology roadmap to meet dynamic business requirements. Your role includes sharing governance responsibilities to ensure compliance with enterprise guidelines concerning security, regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA), data governance, and metadata management. Additionally, you will help define best practices and maintain integration with other enterprise solutions. By monitoring technology trends and conducting discovery of new tools, you'll maintain strategic relationships with vendors and external partners. Your expertise will also contribute to McKinsey's knowledge base, enabling you to lead education and training for the firm's technology community. Using advanced technology and analytics, you'll develop personalized campaigns at scale, assisting clients in shaping their MarTech strategy to deliver tailored communications across digital channels, thereby increasing customer engagement and revenue. Qualifications and Skills: 5-8 years of experience in designing and developing complex enterprise solutions across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud architectures. Proven experience in an architect role with a focus on technology architectures, workflows, and governance guidelines. Hands-on experience with architecture and design of MarTech platforms, such as Adobe, Salesforce, Google, and Oracle. Track record of delivering scalable analytical solutions that integrate and operate effectively. Ability to phase solutions for immediate and long-term needs. Understanding of holistic enterprise architecture and integration of analytical components with foundational elements. Familiarity with AI technologies. Effective communicator who can adapt information for diverse audiences, from leadership to practitioners. Confidence to be an authoritative voice while working collaboratively within a team.
