Key Responsibilities Include: Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations including, but not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, ensuring transparency and compassion by explaining each process. Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and referring physicians to impart high-quality diagnostic images. Skillfully operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions. Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical record system. Keep abreast of new developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies. Education Credentials Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is required. Preferred candidates will have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program. Required Certifications Must hold current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
