Qualifications We're Seeking: State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Senior High endorsement in English. ESL endorsement preferred. Dual Credit College Composition endorsement preferred. Demonstrates innovation and creativity, consistently setting high expectations for student achievement. Skilled in employing innovative instructional methods and adjusting strategies based on assessment data to cater to individual student learning needs. Academically prepared to deliver compelling literature and composition courses. Proven ability in educational planning, including establishing and assessing short and long-term goals. A strong understanding and proven ability to implement modifications and accommodations in both resource and inclusion classroom settings. Committed to an interdisciplinary approach and eager to collaborate with colleagues on developing common assessments and enhancing current programs. Ready to work with a coordinated curriculum focused on preparing students for external assessments. Comfortable and capable of implementing a digital curriculum in a 1:1 iPad instructional environment.
