Mechanical quality inspector

Large aerospace manufacturer of structural landing gear components and airframe machined parts is hiring for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join their team! Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers to measure product dimensions. Maintain detailed records of defects and inspection/test data. Familiar with First Article Inspection a plus Accept or reject finished items based on conformity to specifications. Remove non-conforming products and materials from the production line. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards. Evaluate internal processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards. Identify areas of compliance and opportunities for improvement within organizational processes. Develop and present comprehensive audit reports to management. Collaborate with various departments to address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
