Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal SW UI/UX Server Analyst Engineer to join our team supporting the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) Program. This role will be a critical member of the Software team that will be responsible for focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) systems, particularly for server-based applications. The DARC Software development team is headquartered out of Colorado Springs but may require occasional travel to the DARC sites.Basic Qualifications Active Secret clearance at the time of application. Principal/Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 + years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's; 0 years with a PhD Sr. Principal/Level 4: Bachelor's degree with 8 + years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD Proven experience in back-end development with TypeScript and Node.js. Strong understanding of GraphQL (schema design, resolvers, and integrations). Solid experience with REST APIs and server-side development concepts. Familiarity with web application architecture (e.g., client-side vs server-side processing, deployment pipelines). Experience with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Proficiency with Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Experience working in Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with security best practices for server-side applications, including authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT). Hands-on experience with caching strategies (e.g., Redis, Memcached). Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) is a plus. Knowledge of testing frameworks and writing unit/integration tests for back-end services Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
