Cognos Reporting Developer

Overview We are seeking a Cognos Reporting Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics. This role will partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into performant, user-friendly visualizations and pixel-perfect reports, while working closely with data teams to ensure reliable and secure data access. The ideal candidate combines strong SQL and data modeling skills with hands-on experience authoring and deploying reports in Cognos. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize enterprise reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly visualizations and pixel-perfect reports Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions Partner with data teams to ensure reliable and secure access to data sources Validate report accuracy and troubleshoot reporting issues Support report deployment and ongoing improvements Required Qualifications Experience developing reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics Strong SQL skills Experience working with data models and relational databases Hands-on experience with Cognos report authoring and deployment Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions Strong communication and problem-solving skills Contract Details Duration: Approximately 2-3 months Engagement: Contract Start: Immediate
