At Proofpoint, we are searching for a dynamic candidate who can adapt across teams and lead technical and engineering searches end-to-end. If you enjoy being a trusted partner to recruiters and hiring managers, and can also support non-technical roles, this is the role for you! This position requires an onsite presence in our Sunnyvale office four days per week, and offers a lunch stipend, along with opportunities to participate in exciting onsite events. What You'll Do: Drive top-of-funnel sourcing for a variety of technical roles, specializing in high-impact engineering candidates across competitive sectors like software, infrastructure, security, and data. Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand technical needs, role expectations, and team dynamics. Craft and refine sourcing strategies that engage passive candidates through thorough research, outreach, and networking. Conduct initial conversations to qualify prospects and assess role alignment, ensuring open communication throughout the hiring process. Monitor sourcing metrics, pipeline health, and conversion trends, sharing valuable insights to enhance hiring processes. Improve the candidate experience through thoughtful, timely, and personalized engagement. Contribute to employer branding, interview best practices, and the continuous enhancement of recruiting operations. What We're Looking For: Over 2 years of sourcing or full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with a strong background in technical and engineering roles. A proven track record of sourcing hard-to-find technical talent and articulating complex roles effectively to candidates. Flexibility to recruit across various job families, including technical and non-technical positions. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with senior leaders. Strong sourcing, screening, and closing abilities, all while prioritizing a candidate-focused approach. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently. Data-informed decision-making, using metrics to drive improvements without becoming paralyzed by data. Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments such as high-growth or matrixed organizations. Pay Transparency: We provide a transparent pay structure to ensure equity and reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. markets. The compensation ranges are: SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area: $92,800.00 - $136,070.00 California (excluding SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 All other cities and states: $68,600.00 - $100,650.00
