Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a night shift 13-week travel contract. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $60.00/hour with a blended travel rate and requires working 36 hours per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. As an RN in the PCU, you will deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to moderately acute patients who need continuous cardiac and clinical monitoring. You will work closely with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients, including cardiac and telemetry monitoring. Perform thorough patient assessments and accurately document findings. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as per provider orders. Quickly identify and respond to changes in patient condition. Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams. Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions. Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards. Requirements: Active RN license or compact license. Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience.
