Job Title: Commercial Fire / Low Voltage Business Development Company Name: Sting Alarm Inc Pay Range: $90,000 to $110,000 per year (Base) +Commission Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday Location: Las Vegas, NV Type of Construction/Work we perform: Low Volt Security, Access Control & Fire (Residential, Commercial, Industrial) Job Overview Sting Alarm Inc is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Fire / Low Voltage Business Development professional to expand our presence across commercial, industrial, and government markets. This role focuses on generating new business, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and integrated low voltage security systems. This position blends onsite relationship-building with remote flexibility and requires a strong understanding of commercial construction cycles, bid processes, and client management. The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative sales environment and understands how to position technical solutions that meet code requirements and client objectives. Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To: Identify and pursue new commercial fire alarm and low voltage opportunities Develop relationships with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, and developers Generate and track leads within commercial, industrial, and government sectors Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client consultations Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to develop competitive proposals Understand and communicate NFPA codes and compliance requirements to clients Track and manage sales pipeline activity and revenue forecasting Negotiate contracts and close deals while protecting company margins Maintain long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business Represent Sting Alarm professionally at industry events and networking opportunities Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial fire alarm, low voltage security, or related construction sales Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems Familiarity with NFPA codes and commercial building compliance standards Experience working with commercial contractors and construction bid environments Proven track record of revenue generation and business development success Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Compensation: Commission structure based on project revenue Bi-weekly pay cycle Retirement savings program Performance-based bonus opportunities Health & Wellness: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life and Disability Insurance Options Career Development: Paid training and certifications Apprenticeship and mentorship programs Personal tool replacement program Tech package (smartphone or tablet provided) Work-Life Balance: Paid holidays Paid vacation and sick time Paid parental leave Additional Perks: Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement Uniforms provided Company events Employee rewards and incentive programs Prevailing wage project opportunities Schedule Full-Time Monday - Friday Standard business hours with flexibility for client meetings and industry events Work Location Onsite and Remote flexibility Based in the Las Vegas, NV area Travel required for client meetings, site visits, and industry networking Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
