Job Description Join Oracle's AI Data Platform team, where we are transforming enterprise AI and revolutionizing AI application development. We are looking for a Senior Technical Staff Member (IC3) to design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient software components and services essential for the Data Platform product, particularly focusing on AI and ML functionalities. Responsibilities Lead the development of next-generation AI capabilities utilizing microservices, Oracle's standard tools, and prominent open-source frameworks. Create high-quality software components that are integral to the AI Data Platform product. Collaborate with technical leads to ensure all new capabilities are designed according to best practices. Engage with remote and diverse teams to manage complex cloud systems, including participation in on-call rotations. Embrace learning and adaptation across new territories and domains. Contribute to the recruitment and mentorship of new team members to foster team growth. Qualifications BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in implementing and operating large-scale cloud services. Strong expertise in Java and associated technologies; Python proficiency is a plus. Experience with cloud development on major platforms (Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCP). In-depth understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools for managing distributed systems. Knowledge of DevOps automation and continuous integration/deployment tools (Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Prometheus). Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, adept at collaborating within cross-functional teams. Experience in AI/ML is highly preferred: Background in building and managing Generative AI, Agentic, or RAG systems. Familiarity with current open-source AI models/frameworks (Llama, LangGraph, etc.). Knowledge and experience with ML Ops and relevant tooling/infrastructure.
