Job Overview Become a pivotal part of the OCI Resource Analytics Team as a Principal Software Engineer. We are building an advanced platform that provides a comprehensive, near real-time inventory of virtual and software assets, their configurations, relationships, and cloud consumption. As we continue to grow and innovate, we are embarking on ambitious initiatives that include configuration management and cost management modules, all supported by rich SQL endpoints for resource data access. Integrated analytics will empower our customers with valuable insights into inventory, compliance, and cost trends. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting the core services and tools that drive our data warehouse infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of services and product features. Collaborate with architects, product managers, and program managers to ensure timely and high-quality releases. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Work across teams to develop integrated solutions. Identify and mitigate delivery risks and execution bottlenecks. Basic Qualifications Strong understanding of software design, coding, data structures, algorithms, and performance analysis. Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or C++, and experienced in PL/SQL. 8+ years of experience in designing and building complex software systems. In-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, Cloud Computing, and Data Security concepts. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience with enterprise RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) and cloud data platforms (e.g., ADW, Snowflake, Redshift). Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful features. Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience. Preferred Qualifications BS degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience designing scalable, distributed cloud services. Familiarity with multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production deployments. Understanding of secure software development practices.
