Job Title: Power & Performance Engineer (Client CPU / Platform)Work Location: Austin, TX 78728Duration: 12 Months Work Type: Temporary Assignment Job Type: OnsiteJob Description/Responsibilities: Analyze CPU performance using hardware counters, profiling tools, and workloads Identify and debug performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, cache, and interconnect Collaborate with SMU, BIOS, and firmware teams to tune power states (P states, C states, boost) Debug power and performance issues on pre silicon and post silicon platforms Execute and optimize manual and automated test plans Report system behavior and user experience observations (fan noise, thermals, responsiveness) Must Have Skills: 3+ years of experience in CPU, SoC, or platform power/performance engineering Strong understanding of CPU microarchitecture (pipelines, caches, SMT, memory hierarchy) Experience with performance analysis and debugging Proficient in Python scripting and C/C++ programming Understanding of object oriented and modular software design Software & Tools: Python, C/C++ Unit testing and basic test automation Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development Experience with Jira or similar ticketing systems Education / Experience: BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) Prior experience with client PC testing, validation, or debug preferred TekWissen® Group is an equal opportunity employer supporting workforce diversity.
