This crucial role entails developing and deploying a comprehensive development and donor stewardship strategy that aligns with our national fundraising objectives and fulfills our annual revenue targets. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in directing the overall strategy and total revenue generation in the field, providing both strategic oversight and hands-on support across various revenue channels, while empowering regional teams to cultivate strong partnerships with local corporate entities and foundation donors. The VP will also act as a strategic advisor, nurture a culture of philanthropy, and engage with the Regional Advisory Council to amplify fundraising opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess at least 10 years of experience in strategic philanthropy, demonstrated success in leading diverse fundraising teams, and a strong track record of achieving revenue goals. A passion for supporting military and veteran families is essential. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), have experience in change management, and a robust background in donor activation and stewardship. Familiarity with securing in-kind donations and experience in a military or veteran service organization are important qualifications. The VP will work remotely and is expected to exhibit a high level of cross-functional leadership, build strategic partnerships, and prioritize the organization’s mission and fundraising objectives.
