Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance (NIPR/SIPR access required) Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Applications & Development Support Specialist to support Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) agencies and organizations. The selected candidate will design, develop, implement, and maintain complex cloud-based and SharePoint business solutions within Government-approved environments. This role supports enterprise-level applications that provide situational awareness (SA) and decision-support capabilities to senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Microsoft cloud technologies, SharePoint development, Power Platform solutions, DevOps practices, and emerging technologies such as AI API integrations. Key Responsibilities • Support all cloud application and development efforts for HQMC Agencies and Staff organizations. • Design, build, test, implement, debug, and maintain complex web and database applications. • Develop dashboards, forms, views, workflows, reports, and automated solutions to enhance decision-making and operational visibility. • Analyze system requirements and technical specifications; translate business needs into scalable solutions. • Support both new development initiatives and enhancements to existing enterprise applications. • Test and refine NIPR/SIPR SharePoint and application business solutions (all test plans/scripts require Government approval prior to implementation). • Provide recommendations for SharePoint site collections, including preparation for migration to future SharePoint or cloud environments. • Utilize Government-approved Microsoft 365 and cloud-based development tools. • Maintain development/programming code repositories within Government portal environments. • Ensure all custom-developed code and solutions are properly documented and stored in compliance with Government configuration management requirements. • Communicate technical issues, risks, and recommendations clearly to peers and management. • Support DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management best practices. Required Qualifications • Experience working within the Microsoft 365 cloud environment. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure administration and development. • Strong hands-on experience with: o Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) o SharePoint Online (SPO) o SharePoint Framework (SPFx) • Experience in mobile application development. • Experience integrating Artificial Intelligence APIs into business solutions. • Minimum of: o 3 years DevOps experience o 3 years SharePoint development experience o 3 years Power Platform development experience • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and communicating technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong understanding of SDLC processes including design, build, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Technical Environment The selected candidate will work within Government-approved platforms and tools, including but not limited to: • Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher • .NET (current versions) • Microsoft Visual Studio • Microsoft Power Platform • SharePoint Online (SPO) • SharePoint Framework (SPFx) toolchain • Microsoft Azure • DocAve • ShareGate • Approved SharePoint backup solutions Equipment and SharePoint software resources will be Government-provided. Additional Information • All development code is Government-owned and considered a configuration item. • The Contractor must maintain all programming code in a Government-accessible repository. • Solutions will support both NIPR and SIPR environments. • Candidates must be able to operate within secure DoD cloud and enterprise environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Marine Corps environments. • Experience with enterprise migrations to cloud-based SharePoint environments. • Familiarity with secure development practices in classified environments.
