Key Responsibilities: Perform nuclear medicine scans in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring precise dosing and patient safety. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and sanitized. Adhere to strict radiation safety and infection control standards throughout all procedures. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results. Educate patients about the procedure, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Accurately document patient information, radiopharmaceutical administration, and imaging results. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Certification by the ARRT (N) or NMTCB required. Valid state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. BLS certification required prior to the start date. Previous experience in nuclear medicine preferred. Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment, imaging techniques, and radiation safety standards. Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care.
