Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within an elementary school setting. This position supports students' communication development and language skills, contributing to their academic success and social integration. Key Qualifications: Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid SLP License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience working with elementary school-aged children. Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders commonly encountered in school environments. Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and school staff. Location: Position is located in the Laurens, SC area. Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for elementary school students. Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions to address identified speech and language needs. Document student progress and maintain clear records in compliance with school and state requirements. Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to support student learning and communication goals. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights. Stay current with best practices and maintain licensure and certification standards.
