Description Overview: Join us as a Security Supply Chain Assessor to safeguard Amazon’s global supply chain through thorough security assessments and risk management. This position requires extensive travel (up to 75%) across various regions. The Cybersecurity Supply Chain Assessor is vital in enhancing the security of our third-party manufacturing and supplier partners. You will conduct on-site assessments, ensure compliance with corporate and industry security standards, and identify risks in data protection and hardware production. The right candidate will possess deep technical cybersecurity knowledge and a solid understanding of manufacturing and supplier ecosystems. You should thrive in cross-functional collaborations with diverse stakeholders across different time zones. Key Responsibilities: Perform on-site cybersecurity assessments of suppliers and contract manufacturers. Evaluate supplier environments against company and industry security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST 800-171. Assess various security domains, including: Network segmentation and access control Data encryption and protection Endpoint and server security Software provisioning and storage security Incident response and monitoring practices Physical and environmental security controls Document findings, establish risk ratings, and provide suppliers with practical remediation guidance. Collaborate with internal security, compliance, and supply chain teams for continuous supplier risk management improvements. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity assessments, audits, or supplier security evaluations. Experience conducting assessments or audits in manufacturing and software supply chains. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIST CSF. Ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience assessing suppliers in regulated industries such as electronics manufacturing. Insights into software and firmware provisioning security practices.
