This is not a commercial cloud position - this is a mission-focused engineering role where your work directly supports national security operations and secure cyber infrastructure. We are seeking a Cloud Developer / DevSecOps Engineer who understands how to build, secure, and maintain cloud platforms inside classified environments. What You'll Do: You will help design and operate secure cloud platforms used for cyber defense and enterprise operations. You will: Develop secure cloud service delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, DaaS) Build and automate AWS cloud infrastructure using DevSecOps practices Migrate on-prem applications into cloud environments Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management Harden systems and enforce security policies in classified networks Debug cloud stacks and optimize performance and cost Design availability, redundancy, and recovery strategies Support secure platform uptime and monitoring in a SOC environment Analyze existing applications and recommend cloud transition strategies This is a hands-on engineering role - you will be building, scripting, automating, and troubleshooting daily. Required Background: Active Top Secret clearance (required) Ability to obtain a CI Poly Bachelors degree ~5+ years software development or cloud engineering experience Linux administration (RHEL/CentOS environments) Experience supporting cybersecurity systems or secure enterprise environments Experience developing or maintaining software, utilities, or applications in secure environments Strongly Preferred: AWS cloud experience (EC2, IAM, VPC, networking, monitoring) DevSecOps automation (Terraform, Ansible, scripting, CI/CD) Python or Bash scripting Splunk or enterprise logging platforms SQL/Oracle data platforms Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Certifications such as RHCSA or AWS Why This Role Is Different: This is not a ticket-driven support position or commercial startup cloud job.
