Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part Time Location: Santa Cruz Post Acute Compensation: Starting at $21.50 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Part-Time • Various Shifts Available Benefits: Partial benefits depending on hours worked About Us Santa Cruz Post Acute is a compassionate, resident-centered skilled nursing facility dedicated to delivering high-quality clinical care. Our CNAs play a crucial role in supporting residents' daily needs and contributing to a warm, safe, and respectful environment. Position Summary We are seeking caring, dependable Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team. The CNA provides direct resident care, assists with daily living tasks, and supports licensed nurses to ensure that each resident receives thoughtful, dignified care. Pay & Benefits Starting at $21.50 hour, with higher rates based on experience Part-time benefits may include: Medical, dental, and vision options (based on hours) Paid sick time Employee assistance program Opportunities to pick up additional shifts as available Shift differentials may apply for evening/night shifts Available Shifts Days, Evenings, and Nights Flexible scheduling Weekend availability strongly preferred Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Provide compassionate, person-centered support while upholding resident dignity. Record vital signs and assist with clinical observations as directed. Support residents with meals, hydration, and comfort needs. Maintain clean, safe, and organized rooms and care areas. Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly. Follow all infection control and safety protocols. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
