Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an overnight shift position requiring a minimum of 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT registration. Job Details • Work in a hospital-based CT Scan department serving patients ranging from newborn to geriatric, • Schedule is Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, • 13-week contract, • Epic EMR used for charting, • Ability to insert and remove IVs is required as part of daily practice, Job Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of radiology experience required, • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required, • ARRT registration as RT(R) or RT(N) required; ARRT CT registry preferred (if CT license is not held at time of hire, technologist has one year to obtain it), • Active MA license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted) - license required if applicable, • BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location), • Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred, • Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted, • 2 professional references required for consideration, Additional Information • Performs a variety of CT procedures under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager, • Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images and administers prescribed levels of ionizing radiation in accordance with federal, state, local, and hospital policies, • Timekeeping is performed through UKG/Kronos, • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will be offered a reduced pay rate compared to the standard travel rate, • Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available nearby at candidates' own expense; other facility locations may also have associated parking costs
