CT Technologist - Mooresville, NC

A specialized opportunity is available for a CT/Radiologic Technologist skilled in both Diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging, located in Mooresville, NC. This contract role offers a 12-hour day shift working Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a weekend rotation and holiday schedule as assigned. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in a dynamic, emergency care environment. Responsibilities: Perform 40 diagnostic X-rays and 35 CT scans daily, including emergency patient imaging for trauma, MVC, falls, and respiratory issues. Proficiently execute dual-modality imaging (DX and CT) and manage Code Stroke scanning protocols. Provide imaging services in a freestanding Emergency Department with 14 beds, supporting emergency medical teams. Participate in on-call rotation (two days per month), covering shifts across nearby emergency sites within a short travel radius. Collaborate with a team of 2-3 technologists per shift; support is provided by a supervisor on weekdays. Scans are read remotely by radiologists. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of specialty experience, preferably in an Emergency Department or Trauma center. Certification: BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) required. Demonstrated skill in both Diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging modalities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong patient care skills in an emergency setting. Technology and Equipment: Utilize EPIC EMR, Phillips ISite/PACS, Tera Recon 3D post-processing. Operate GE Optima 540 16-slice CT scanner, Siemens Acuson Sequoia ultrasound, and portable and room-based X-ray systems. Additional Details: Orientation includes 3 days departmental training.
