A travel opportunity is available for a skilled CT Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role requires flexibility in scheduling to meet departmental needs and a strong commitment to patient safety and care. The ideal candidate independently performs CT procedures, ensuring accurate imaging while minimizing radiation exposure. Key Responsibilities: Verify clinician orders and patient identity using two unique identifiers Obtain clinical history and assess for contraindications Prepare patients, including administration of contrast media, adhering to safety protocols Perform a variety of CT imaging studies using proper techniques and positioning Evaluate images for quality and clinical appropriateness before releasing patients Maintain and disinfect imaging equipment according to standards Respond promptly to emergencies and maintain life support equipment readiness Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Document procedures accurately and comply with regulatory and quality control standards Assist other technologists and cover areas as needed, including taking call when required Qualifications and Experience: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current certifications: ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum of 1 year radiology experience; CT experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills to interact with diverse populations Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Competency in patient positioning, radiation protection, and quality control testing Location: Hephzibah, Georgia, is a welcoming community offering a mix of small-town charm and easy access to urban amenities.
