Pharmacy Technician - Boston, MA

An urgent need has arisen for Pharmacy Technicians to support an LTC/IDD pharmacy recently implementing a new production system. This contract role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a high-volume pharmacy environment while gaining valuable experience. Location: Boston, MA area Contract Duration: Approximately 4 to 6 weeks, with a focus on stabilizing workflow and catching up on production Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (flexibility required for opening and closing shifts) Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (weekend availability preferred) Responsibilities: Perform data entry and order fulfillment tasks Pack medication totes and assist with production duties as required Adapt to various pharmacy duties to ensure smooth operations during this high-demand period Qualifications/Experience: Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license (must have license in hand) Prior experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy preferred, but retail pharmacy technicians with strong work ethic are also welcome Ability to manage high-volume tasks accurately and efficiently Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends Additional Information: The pharmacy recently transitioned to a new Frameworks system, so adaptability to new technology is important Candidates should be prepared for a swift interview and onboarding process, with on-site start expected within 3-4 days of offer This contract assignment provides an excellent opportunity for pharmacy technicians ready to step into a fast-paced role and make an immediate impact.
