Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution. Current and unrestricted Pharmacist and Controlled Substance licenses from the state of Michigan. 2 years' experience in a clinical setting required. Experience in a primary care setting preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must possess compassion and high level of service for our patients, parents, and staff. Have integrity and always doing the right thing. Must have team building, organizational, staff development, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to organize, work and engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously. Must have a high degree of initiative, accountability, independent judgment, and a commitment to confidentiality. Knowledge of potential side effects of certain drugs or medications and able to properly advice and counsel patients. Ability to communicate and motivate patients regarding disease state, desired outcomes, proper administration, use, actions, precautions, and storage of their medications. Strongly preferred training and experience in culturally diverse environment preferably with Native American population.
