Deliver specialized one-on-one therapeutic sessions concentrating on various areas including communication, language acquisition, fluency, vocal training, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, medical professionals, and family members, to forge unified care strategies. Provide educational resources to patients and families, empowering them to advance progress beyond the confines of clinical encounters. Occasionally engage in inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a streamlined path to recovery. Accurately document patient information in alignment with regulatory standards and best practices. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaborative discourse with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required unless currently ASHA-certified. Certifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferably, acquisition of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be secured within 30 days of hire.
