Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.How you'll make an impact in this role Perform a wide range of radiographic examinations, including skeletal, thoracic, and abdominal imaging, ensuring optimal positioning and technical factor selection to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Adhere to strict ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles by utilizing appropriate lead shielding, collimation, and dose-reduction techniques to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and the general public. Manage a dynamic patient schedule within the RIS/PACS environment; perform daily equipment calibrations and quality assurance checks to ensure all imaging hardware meets ACR (American College of Radiology) and hospital standards. Operate mobile X-ray units and C-arm fluoroscopy systems within the Operating Room and at the bedside in Intensive Care Units, collaborating with surgical and nursing teams to provide real-time imaging for invasive procedures. What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
