A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient staffing duties at a 100-bed hospital in South Lake Tahoe. This position involves working with critical pharmacy systems, including EPIC and Pyxis, to ensure smooth and accurate medication distribution within the hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Support inpatient pharmacy operations to ensure timely and accurate medication preparation and dispensing Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for order verification and inventory management Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to maintain patient safety and compliance Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards Qualifications: Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required Approximately one year of pharmacy technician experience preferred, especially in hospital or inpatient settings Ability to work full-time with availability for four 10-hour shifts per week Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Location: South Lake Tahoe, CA Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week This contract role offers the chance to work in a reputable hospital environment with exposure to leading pharmacy technology.
