Contract Sr. Applications Analyst

Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Contract Senior Applications Analyst on behalf of our client, a nonprofit healthcare organization. The Senior Epic Application Analyst is responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of the organization's Information Systems by leveraging expertise in Epic applications. This role involves advanced analysis, design, configuration, and implementation while ensuring technology is effectively integrated into clinical and operational workflows. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support system training to ensure optimal use of Epic applications across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of Epic applications. Ensure the effective integration of technology into operational workflows and process design. Support the operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and related technologies. Provide advanced analysis, consultation, and troubleshooting support for complex system issues. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to optimize system performance and functionality. Assist in identifying opportunities for system improvements and enhancements. Support end users by resolving technical issues and providing ongoing application support. Contribute to system training and knowledge sharing across the organization. Assist and mentor other application analysts as needed. Participate in system testing, implementation, and upgrades for Epic applications. Act as a technical resource for Epic systems and support project initiatives. Maintain documentation related to application configurations, workflows, and processes. Requirements include: Education: Associate's degree preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in large-scale corporate systems development and implementation. Experience working with healthcare information systems or hospital operations. Previous experience with Epic or other Health Information Systems required. Experience supporting complex technical issues and assisting other analysts. Skills: Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills. Excellent planning and organizational abilities. Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within complex systems environments. Technical aptitude in system analysis, design, configuration, testing, and implementation. Certifications: Epic Certification required. Knowledge: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools, and methodologies. Knowledge of healthcare information systems and hospital workflows. Familiarity with system implementation processes and system integration practices. Understanding of system testing and application lifecycle management.
