A specialized opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is available in Carver County, MN, supporting an onsite school environment with travel components. This position offers approximately 0.7 FTE (around 26 hours per week) initially, with the potential to increase hours. The assignment runs from February 9, 2026, through June 5, 2026, providing support during a colleague's maternity leave and helping to manage caseload demands. Key Responsibilities: Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language impairments Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Manage and reduce caseload burdens by providing timely and effective services Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities Qualifications & Experience: Current Minnesota SLP license is required Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred Experience working in school settings providing speech-language services Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Location & Work Structure: Position is located in Carver County, MN, with duties at a school site in Norwood Young America area Travel within the district may be required Part-time hours with the chance to expand based on caseload needs This role offers a meaningful way to support students' communication development during a critical time, with the flexibility of a part-time schedule and potential growth.
