This opportunity is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to support four EP Labs operating Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and three labs on Wednesday. The role is based in Mooresville, NC, offering a contract assignment within a Level I Trauma teaching hospital recognized for clinical excellence, a Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and Magnet designation. Key Responsibilities: Assist in EP procedures including Electrophysiology Studies (EPS), Catheter Ablations (PFA, Radiofrequency, Cryoablations), and Watchman Atrial Fibrillation cases. Support implantable device procedures such as pacemaker, defibrillator, biventricular device implantations, lead extractions, cardioversions, loop implants, and advanced leadless device insertions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including charge nurses, VAD team, RT, ECMO team, and code team to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency. Utilize technology and equipment including EPIC EMR, Philips Cardio Lab hemodynamic monitors, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Philips PACS, and advanced imaging systems. Maintain accurate documentation and follow protocols for patient care and procedure support. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years EP lab experience required. Licensure and certifications as applicable: RN (BLS, ACLS), Cardiac Cath Tech (BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or equivalent, RCIS required; RCES preferred). Experience with EPIC charting, pre/post procedure documentation, management of conscious sedation and pressors. Skilled in EP/structural scrub techniques and case monitoring preferred. First-time travelers are welcome within radius rule (permanent address must be 50 miles outside home unit). Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, 0630-1700.
