Job Description Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance issues. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Repair or replace defective parts, motors, belts, bearings, pumps, and components Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs Maintain HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and basic electrical systems Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls Document work performed using maintenance logs or CMMS systems Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and facility improvements Coordinate with production, operations, and outside contractors as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of maintenance, industrial, or facilities experience preferred Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical drawings Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Technical certification or trade school training Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment HVAC, electrical, or welding certifications Experience with CMMS software Forklift or lift certification Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth and training opportunities All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
