In this position, you will oversee various areas, including order fulfillment, replenishment, services, and the fish warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include: Leading DC Operations Supervisors who manage teams of up to 30 associates in a performance-driven culture Developing talent through effective performance management tools, systems, and resources Managing daily planning, organizing, and operations within the distribution center Balancing workloads to meet production and delivery goals efficiently Communicating daily goals, recognizing achievements, and identifying areas for improvement Leading teams adaptively in a dynamic work environment Coaching supervisors to adhere to company policies and safety standards Engaging in effective talent management through recruitment and selection processes Communicating effectively with senior leaders and across the organization Using software, data, and analytics to enhance operations, monitor production metrics, and proactively address challenges Your Qualifications A passion for pets and people with a desire for a rewarding career 4-6 years of leadership experience in a similar environment A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred Able to follow basic instructions and procedures communicated through various means Physical capability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable with alternating between standing, sitting, and walking for shifts that typically last 10-12 hours Willingness to operate powered industrial and mechanical equipment with appropriate training and safety standards provided Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels Adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly Join Us!
