Job Description Join our innovative team as a Senior Quality Assurance Consultant, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of electronic medical software utilized across federal agencies. In this pivotal client-facing position, you will lead meetings and testing sessions with government stakeholders to ensure that we deliver exceptional products to end users. Your efforts will significantly impact the implementation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, improving healthcare experiences for active duty service members, veterans, and their healthcare teams. Responsibilities Lead manual testing efforts, encompassing functional and technical/interface testing. Gather requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and create effective test scripts. Design and write manual front-end test scripts for diverse service workflows to validate project requirements. Follow established test case writing standards diligently. Consult with clients regarding the implications of design decisions on the testing process. Coordinate and facilitate testing sessions with federal teams and key stakeholders. Provide expert guidance across multiple workflows within solutions. Coach clients on testing best practices and recommend suitable methods for effective system and integration testing. Advise stakeholders on testing activities, defect investigations, and concerns regarding assigned clients. Manually execute test cases while ensuring thorough documentation of test evidence. Maintain compliance with testing procedures, keeping records of test evidence and artifacts. Lead test plan reviews and manage the schedule for ongoing test executions. Document, track, and manage test findings and defects through Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools. Participate in the preparation and review of joint testing and regression cycles. Uphold compliance with record management and privacy requirements concerning PHI or PII data during testing. Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience in testing roles. An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience. Strong product or technical expertise in the relevant focus area. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Proficient in managing competing priorities effectively. Demonstrated collaborative mindset with a willingness to engage with various teams. Ability to exercise independent judgment to deliver functional solutions for moderately complex engagements. Experience in crafting formal test plans/scripts and compiling test evidence in regulated environments. U.S. citizenship is required due to client contracts; candidates must reside in the U.S. Must be eligible for the appropriate government security clearance associated with this position. Preferred Qualifications Experience with implementing Oracle Cerner products. Familiarity with industry-standard testing practices. Experience collaborating with federal government clients. Knowledge of EHR workflows, interface validation, or data migration testing. Prior involvement in federal health IT projects (e.g., VA, DoD) or testing in regulated healthcare IT environments. Experience in a clinical or hospital setting with an understanding of hospital operations and patient care processes. Proficiency in Application Lifecycle Management, JIRA, or other testing management tools.
