Description: Join our enterprise support team dedicated to delivering exceptional facility and administrative support to our professionals and clients across multiple channels. As a vital member of the tax support team, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive administrative assistance for tax return processing and delivery. The Opportunity As a Tax Document Processing Specialist, you will ensure smooth processing of submitted tax returns according to established practice standards. Utilize your tax knowledge and technological skills to produce precise and timely returns. You will monitor the status of submissions, scan, and electronically save vital tax documents. Additionally, you may assist with various tax engagement-related tasks. In return, you'll collaborate with a network of experienced colleagues and have the chance to significantly contribute to team success and organizational goals. Your Key Responsibilities Include Gaining a thorough understanding of all relevant federal, state, and local tax return types and their filing requirements. Adhering to tax methodology and processing standards for tax return products and organization-specific policies. Regularly checking tax processing Outlook mailboxes to retrieve tax return requests efficiently. Logging, copying, printing, assembling, and distributing tax returns with accuracy and efficiency. Identifying client needs and engaging in process improvement initiatives. Leveraging business and industry knowledge to address key client issues and present innovative solutions. Being prepared to work overtime during peak tax processing periods. Skills and Attributes for Success Demonstrated ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment in an effective and practical manner is essential. Your teamwork skills will foster strong relationships across various levels of the organization. As you will be juggling multiple projects and deadlines, your organizational skills and attention to detail will be critical for your success. Proactive, independent work habits will enhance your ability to meet project objectives. To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in computer/technology and tax software applications (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Engagement Access Database, ECF/eDocs). A willingness to learn new applications and proficiently work both electronically and with physical documents as necessary. Capability to prioritize, multitask, and ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of tasks. At least one year of relevant work experience; experience with tax returns is a plus. A high school diploma; some college or equivalent work experience is preferred. Ability to operate within an office environment. Ideally, You'll Also Have Experience in a professional services setting. Proven ability to work independently. Experience in a high-volume processing role with minimal oversight.
