Position Overview The Production Schedule Manager for Drug Product Finished Goods plays a crucial role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules for drug product manufacturing, filling, inspection, and packaging. This position is essential for ensuring that products are delivered on time while making the best use of resources and adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). As the central coordination point, you will collaborate with various departments, including Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure material availability, equipment capacity, and staffing align with production needs. What You'll Do Develop and manage detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory goals, and available equipment and labor capacity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Warehouse—to align production activities with operational objectives. Monitor the execution of production schedules, making proactive adjustments for any delays, equipment issues, or deviations. Clearly communicate schedule updates, challenges, and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner. Coordinate with materials management to ensure raw materials and components needed for production are available. Contribute to long-term capacity planning and resource forecasting to support strategic business initiatives. Utilize enterprise systems (ERP/MES) to issue work orders, monitor progress, and track key performance metrics. Participate in daily and weekly planning meetings to support real-time operational decisions. Basic Requirements High school diploma with 8+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Life or Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field with 6+ years of experience OR a Bachelor's in Life or Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or a related field with 4+ years of experience. Equivalent military training may also be considered. Preferred Requirements Experience in drug product manufacturing, sterile processing, or quality assurance. Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and MES platforms (such as PAS-X). Completion of BioWorks or BTEC coursework. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Ability to sit for prolonged periods. Capability to conduct repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
