AWS Data Architect

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to design and implement cloud-native data solutions on AWS. The role focuses on data management, data lakes, and data warehousing with hands-on expertise in AWS Glue, Redshift, and related services. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement scalable data lake and warehouse solutions using AWS (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lake Formation, Athena). Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Define best practices for data governance, security, and cost optimization in AWS. Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver high-performance data platforms. Required Skills 8+ years in data architecture/engineering, with strong AWS experience. Hands-on expertise in AWS Glue, Redshift, Data Lake solutions, and SQL/Python. Experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and data governance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Data Analytics Specialty. Experience with streaming (Kinesis, Kafka) and BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI).
