Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: CVOR Tech (Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician) Location: York, PA Duration: 13 Weeks (Start Date: 04/06/2026) Shift: Day Shift - 4x10-Hour (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM); alternating days off. Includes 1-2 call days per week (30-minute response time), every 3rd or 4th weekend on call (Friday 4:30 PM - Monday 6:00 AM), and holidays as needed. Job Responsibilities: Provide surgical scrub and technical support for open heart and complex cardiovascular procedures in the CVOR Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, aneurysm repairs, and advanced cardiac interventions Maintain sterile field using strict aseptic technique Prepare, handle, and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment Ensure compliance with Universal Protocol (Time Out), radiation safety, sharps safety, and isolation precautions Assist with specimen handling and labeling Support ECMO, VAD, and other advanced cardiac support procedures Float as needed within surgical services Participate in on-call rotation with required 30-minute response time May care for COVID-positive patients Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required Open heart experience REQUIRED Level I Trauma experience REQUIRED NBSTSA certification REQUIRED (NCCT not accepted) BLS certification (AHA or ARC only) EPIC experience required Minimum 1 year overall experience Must comply with tobacco- and fragrance-free facility policy COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed) Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) No license hits accepted About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
