Role Overview We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse who exemplifies our values and is devoted to delivering outstanding patient care. As part of your responsibilities, you will perform circulating or scrub duties, ensuring safe and effective care from patient entry to recovery. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate patients preoperatively and prepare them for surgery. Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and the perioperative process. Administer intravenous therapy and preoperative medications while verifying surgical sites. Participate in surgical site verification protocols, including briefings, time outs, and debriefings. Recognize and effectively respond to patient emergencies. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while engaging in evidence-based practices. Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team, including surgeons and surgical technologists. Apply critical thinking and nursing processes to ensure safe patient care. Monitor and document patient conditions throughout your shifts, addressing any changes in care. Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and follow-up measures. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. A minimum of 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center. Current RN license as required by the state or appropriate compact licensure. Valid BCLS Certification (online certification is not acceptable). ACLS certification as required by the facility. CNOR certification is preferred.
