About the role We are looking for an operationally-minded scientist, tech industry project/program manager, or simply someone rising fast in their career to take the reins and turbocharge experimental data generation here at Chai. Data is vital to training frontier AI models, testing research hypotheses, and supporting our partners. You will set the vision and execute scaling of Chai's lab-in-the-loop data platform and drive CRO/external research partners, while working hand-in-hand with our science and research teams. About you Our ideal candidate is operations-focused and execution-minded. Someone who always keeps the trains running on time and always operates with urgency, with strong communication skills and analytical abilities. Some who can: Design & drive complex projects and workflows, dependent on multi-party relationships. Translate internal scientific goals into concrete, CRO-friendly instructions-assays, deliverables, success criteria, SOWs, timelines, sample trackers, etc. Juggle concurrent projects and priorities, adapting quickly and keeping everyone in sync. Excellent at communicating highly technical information. Define a vision for how we can scale data generation efforts by orders of magnitude. Mindset: You have a deep desire to push the limits of what's possible and restless drive to solve real-world problems by iterating fast. Exposure to startups or other intense environments is important.
