Pay: $19 - $20 depending on experience Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of scrap blending Coordinate heat orders with crane operators Communication with yard operators, drivers, and Production Managers Fill out charge paperwork daily Understanding what scraps to be used for the different chemistry heats Scheduling and performing scale tests Corresponding with USS melters regarding heat orders Obtain knowledge of scrap processing Obtain knowledge of different types of scrap Participate in the Corporate Quality Program as required Follow all safety, environmental and other compliance rules and policies Qualifications Basic mathematical skills Legible penmanship Ability to work independently with very little supervision at a fast pace Good computer skills Good communication skills and positive attitude Problem solving and decision-making capability Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Paid time off TMS International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
