Position Type: Volunteers/Volunteer/Chaperone Date Posted: 7/9/2025 Location: Volunteer - Site Specific IMPORTANT: Volunteers/Chaperones must be approved by the School Site and Human Resources prior to being a Volunteer/Chaperone. Thank you for your interest in the Queen Creek Unified School District. We are excited that you want to volunteer with us. Please look at the steps below to be a volunteer. If you are a parent or legal guardian that wants to volunteer in your own child's classroom, a Volunteer Application is not required, just contact your child's school office. If you are a parent or legal guardian participating in an overnight event or if you are a community member that wants to volunteer on a school campus, please follow the steps below. What you need to be a volunteer: Apply online with QCUSD Universal Background Clearance Check (HR department will submit background check automatically once online application is submitted) AZ DPS Fingerprint Background Check (HR will contact you with further instructions once your application has been submitted & approved) Volunteers do not pay for the AZ DPS Fingerprint Background Check, HR will send a voucher code with instructions. After you submit your application online you must contact the school(s) where you wish to volunteer. Volunteer applications cannot be processed without approval from the school office. All Volunteers and Chaperones are required to be Fingerprinted and consent to a Background Check. Please allow at least 3 weeks for the background checks to clear.
