Details Work in the Radiology/CT Scan department of a 154-bed, Joint Commission Accredited Duke LifePoint Hospital Facility specialties include orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, behavioral health, and a Chest Pain Center Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, and some pediatrics Patient caseload is approximately 20–30 patients per tech, shared between two techs Procedures include CT biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, Nerve Root blocks, and fluoroscopy on the CT machine GE CT equipment used; Paragon EHR (experience preferred) Schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week, Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM On-call required a couple of nights per week, rotated among techs Weekend hours required only to cover PTO Float to MRI preferred if qualified Requirements Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience ARRT certification with R and CT registration required Ability to perform CT-guided procedures including biopsy, drainage, Coronary CTA, Nerve Root blocks, or at minimum fluoroscopy on the CT machine License required if applicable Social Security number required for consideration Date of birth required for consideration RQI certifications are not accepted MRI experience preferred Additional Information Orientation is held bi-weekly Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible Black scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies are not acceptable attire Located in Clyde, NC, approximately 20 miles from Asheville and within driving distance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park American Traveler Job ID #P-680590.
